What a permanent address check confirms
Most candidates in India carry two addresses: the one they live at for work and the family address printed on their identity documents. A current-address check settles the first and says nothing about the second. This check confirms the family home exists, that the candidate belongs to it, and that the address on their documents is real.
The address as it exists on the ground, compared against what the candidate declared and what their documents show.
A family member or long-term resident confirms the candidate belongs to the address.
Who answered and their relationship to the candidate, named in the report.
How long the family has lived there, as stated at the address.
The occupancy status as stated at the address. This is not a title search.
Latitude, longitude and images of the premises and landmark, annexed to the finding.
Sources. An associate from the GVS field network at the permanent address, the person met there, and the address recorded on the candidate's identity documents. Where the permanent and current address are the same, one visit covers both and the report says so.
How it works
Five steps. A field check takes longer than a database lookup because someone has to stand at the door.
- 01 Address confirmed with the candidate We take the permanent address from the candidate and cross-check it against the address on their identity documents.
- 02 Associate assigned An associate covering that pincode picks up the visit.
- 03 Visit made The associate goes to the address and speaks to whoever answers.
- 04 Evidence recorded Person met, relationship, duration of family residence, occupancy status, coordinates and photographs.
- 05 Quality check and report The visit record is audited before the finding is published to your dashboard.
