What GVS does, and who does it
Every report is built from work a person did, not pulled from a database. Five kinds of work make up a case.
Call the employer, the university or the reference named on the file, and record what the source actually said.
Go to the address in person and confirm who is actually there.
Check that the annexure on file matches the finding in the report before it goes out.
Keep the employer updated on case status and explain what a finding means.
Build and run the systems that move a case from consent to a finished report.
What we expect
Accuracy over speed
On any single case, get it right before you get it fast. A wrong finding costs more than a slow one.
Write down what you were told
The source's actual words go in the file, not a paraphrase that sounds more certain than it is.
Treat candidates decently
The person on the other end of a check is mid-hire, not a data point, and is never asked to pay for one.
Open roles
A role is listed here when it is actually open, not on a rolling basis.
There is nothing open right now. When a role opens, in verification, field operations, quality review, client operations or technology, it gets posted here.
