You get the evidence, not just the verdict
Genuine Verification Services has run background checks for Indian employers since 2010. Every finding we report carries the document it came from.
What we do
Background verification confirms that what a person told you about themselves is true, before you act on it.

The decision it serves
We check the things a CV asserts and an interview cannot settle: who a candidate is, where they have worked and for how long, what they studied, where they live, and whether a court or a registrar holds a record against them. Each one is confirmed with the body that issued the record, and the answer we get back is annexed to the case.
It is a hiring decision, made under time pressure, about a person who will hold access to money, data, customers or a client site. Employers come to us when getting that wrong is expensive, from banks and NBFCs to staffing firms, IT companies, retail chains and gig platforms.
The same work covers the people you do not put on payroll. Vendors, contractors and incoming directors are checked to the same standard, because the exposure is the same.
The sectors we work in
Where we stand
Four facts, all of them checkable.
Genuine Verification Services Private Limited has verified people for Indian employers since then.
Banks, NBFCs, staffing firms, IT companies, retail chains and gig platforms.
Identity, employment, education, address, court record, and the eleven others in the catalogue.
Independently audited, alongside ISO 9001:2015 for quality management.
Our principles
The rules the work runs on. They decide what gets reported, and how.
Evidence, not opinion
Every finding is annexed to the record it came from, so you can check the work rather than take our word for it.
Unclear stays unclear
A check we could not close is reported as that. We do not round a gap up into a clear.
Consent before the check
Nothing is run without the candidate's consent, on the basis the DPDP Act sets out.
The candidate can reply
They are told what is being checked, and a finding can be disputed before the case closes.
Data is held tight
Access is limited to the people running the case and is removed when someone leaves. Audited under ISO 27001.
One standard at any volume
Five cases a month or five hundred, the checks and the sign-off do not change.
Security and certifications
Quality management and information security are both independently audited, and the certificates are current.
ISO 9001:2015 covers how the work is run. ISO 27001 covers how candidate data is held, who can reach it and what happens when someone leaves. Genuine Verification Services is also a registered MSME. Personal data is processed on a consent basis in line with India's DPDP Act, and what we keep, why we keep it and how a finding is disputed are set out in the Trust Centre.
